Oomycota

Oomycota: Los Oomycota u Oomycetes son un filo de protistas convergentes con los hongos. Se encuadran en el superfilo cromalveolados, al lado de las algas pardas o las diatomeas. Presentan zoosporas biflageladas con un flagelo mastigonemado dirigido hacia delante y otro desnudo que, generalmente, se dirige hacia atrás. La pared celular está compuesta, principalmente, de glucanos, aunque también contiene celulosa, pero raramente contiene quitina.
